Field Surveyor for Data Collection

The successful candidate should be self-motivated, have a great work ethic, and be able to work well with little supervision in various environments or inclement weather.

As a Field Surveyor for Data Collection, you will be expected to perform the following:

Responsibilities include:

• Follow project instructions from the Field Service Manager or Site Supervisor.
• Entering existing line type (example) copper, PVC, poly, ductile, galvanized, and lead.
• Taking photos of water lines.
• Follow UMS standards of safety, productivity, and quality of work.
• Walking or driving vehicles along established routes to perform data collection.
• Work independently and in a team environment.
• Maintain and follow required attire and grooming standards.
• Basic technological equipment skills and attention to detail to ensure data integrity.

Qualifications:

• Must have and maintain a valid Driver's License.
• Must have and maintain a vehicle & proof of insurance.
• Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.

• Must be able to work all required shifts.

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Must work under the following conditions:

• Wear a company-approved uniform and required PPE, which is provided by the company.
• Stand, walk, reach, using hands and arms frequently.
• Perform work outdoors, in variable weather conditions and environments.

• Follow the Field Service Manager's oral and written directions, plans, and instructions.
• Lift up to 50 lbs., bend, and stoop repetitively, and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Maintain reliability and dependability.
• Assist with other activities when needed.
