Data Analytics Consultant

Job Description

Amplytics is seeking a Data Analytics Consultant to drive complex data analysis projects for our clients. In this role, you will manage complex data analysis projects while serving as a bridge between junior analysts and senior stakeholders. This role requires both technical excellence and strong business acumen to deliver impactful insights that drive client success.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Design and execute complex data analysis solutions aligned with business objectives
• Develop automated routines for data processing and reporting
• Create and optimize SQL queries for efficient data extraction
• Implement statistical analysis methodologies for trend identification
• Establish technical standards and best practices for the team
  
  

Data Quality & Governance

• Manage complex data extracts and ensure data accuracy throughout analysis
• Design and implement data cleansing and validation processes
• Create automated quality control measures and monitoring systems
• Recommend and implement database enhancements
• Develop documentation for data processes and methodologies
  
  

Analysis & Insights

• Conduct advanced statistical analyses to uncover meaningful patterns
• Create comprehensive reports highlighting key trends and opportunities
• Develop predictive models and forecasting tools
• Generate ad-hoc analyses and custom reports as needed
• Build and maintain automated reporting dashboards
  
  

Project Management

• Lead end-to-end analytics projects with minimal supervision
• Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery
• Monitor project scope and manage stakeholder expectations
• Document project progress and maintain clear communication channels
  
  

Stakeholder Communication

• Present findings and recommendations to diverse audiences
• Translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language
• Create compelling data visualizations and presentations
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Provide regular project status updates to key stakeholders
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in data analytics
• Strong SQL query writing skills
• Advanced skill in Microsoft Excel/Access (complex formulas, graphing, VBA)
• Experience with statistical analysis tools
