Position Summary

MDB Transportation is looking for a reliable and dependable full-time Operations Office/Billing Clerk to join our company.

The candidate will perform a variety of clerical duties, data entry, process documentation, scanning, archiving, make copies, send out certified mail, etc.

Requirements And Responsibilities

• Be attentive to detailed processes, procedures and associated data entry and paperwork etc.
• Be prepared to support both operations and payroll department.
• Assist with onboarding drivers by providing training on paperwork and requirements.
• Breakdown of driver’s paperwork for review and process.
• Make copies of driver manifest for payroll department
• Scan and archived documentation with corresponding order number under TMW Software
• Retrieve interchanges from terminal portal as needed.
• File POD, BOL, interchanges, and other documents daily.
• Assist customers with PODs, BOL and interchanges as need it.
• Notify customers of detention accrued by drivers.
• Conduct data entry and maintain accurate customer records.
• Capture all revenue by reviewing loads, notes, and emails
• Billing under TMW as well as customers portal.
• Provide customers with required documentation as support for payment.
• Assist the accounting department with remittances for cash application as needed.
• Review customers account in a timely manner to avoid any delinquency.
• Ability to multitask effectively.
• Assist on other duties and special projects as assigned.
• Assist with phones and various administrative and clerical duties as needed.
  
  

Competencies

• Minimum of 1-2 years of data entry
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel.
• Experience in drayage trucking is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Ability to work independently, in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• Ability to work over-time during peak season.
  
  

Pay

• The pay depends on experience ($24.00 - $26.00 /hour DOE) and will be discussed during an in-person interview.
