Job Overview

We are seeking a visionary and strategic Chief Product Officer (CPO) to drive the product innovation and expansion of our AI-driven solutions tailored for the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) & FinTech industries. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AI/ML applications, financial data platforms, and regulatory-compliant product development, ensuring that our solutions remain at the forefront of the evolving financial technology landscape.

As CPO, you will lead product strategy, roadmap execution, user experience, and cross-functional collaboration while ensuring the seamless integration of cutting-edge AI capabilities into financial products that enhance decision-making, risk management, fraud detection, and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Vision

• Define and execute a comprehensive product vision and roadmap aligned with the company’s AI and BFSI/FinTech growth strategy.
• Develop a market-leading AI-driven product suite that enhances financial decision-making, automates processes, and drives business efficiencies.
• Stay ahead of emerging financial trends, AI advancements, and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and innovation in product development.
  
  

AI-Driven Product Development

• Oversee the design, development, and launch of AI-powered products, ensuring scalability, security, and regulatory alignment.
• Leverage machine learning, predictive analytics, NLP, and large financial datasets to create next-generation financial technology solutions.
• Ensure AI models are explainable, unbiased, and aligned with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, Basel III, SEC, FCA regulations, etc.).
  
  

Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Lead and mentor product management teams, data scientists, and engineers to foster a high-performance, innovation-driven culture.
• Collaborate with engineering, data, compliance, and customer success teams to drive product excellence.
• Partner with sales, marketing, and business development to align go-to-market strategies with customer needs.
  
  

Customer & Market Insights

• Engage with C-suite executives, financial institutions, and key stakeholders to gather insights and refine product offerings.
• Drive customer-centric product development by incorporating user feedback, competitive analysis, and financial market trends.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase product adoption and market share in BFSI and FinTech verticals.
  
  

Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure products meet financial compliance, security, and data privacy regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Work closely with legal and compliance teams to develop AI governance frameworks and risk mitigation strategies.
  
  

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in product management leadership, with 5+ years in BFSI/FinTech and AI-driven product development.
• Strong expertise in AI/ML technologies, financial data analytics, and regulatory-compliant product innovation.
• Proven track record of launching AI-powered products in financial services, payments, risk management, or wealth management.
• Deep understanding of financial market infrastructure, regulatory compliance, and risk assessment frameworks.
• Experience working with cloud-based, SaaS, and API-first financial platforms.
• Knowledge of blockchain, DeFi, and digital payments is a plus.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring and scaling product teams in high-growth environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage C-level executives, regulators, and institutional investors.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience with generative AI, LLMs, and deep learning for BFSI applications.
• Prior leadership experience in high-growth FinTech startups, large BFSI enterprises, or AI-driven financial platforms.
