Description
This role plays a critical function in constructing tools and developing reports that not only identify gaps, opportunities, and issues for internal teams but also contribute to adding value for our clients. The Technical Analyst is responsible for extracting data from diverse sources, meticulously validating and repackaging it, and delivering insightful analytics. Additionally, this position involves strategic alignment of business requirements with system and technical solutions. The Technical Analyst will also document technical specifications during the intake process, collaborating directly with internal stakeholders and other members of the Business Insights team.

The Technical Analyst is responsible for extracting data from diverse sources, meticulously validating and repackaging it, and delivering insightful analytics. Additionally, this position involves strategic alignment of business requirements with system and technical solutions. The Technical Analyst will also document technical specifications during the intake process, collaborating directly with internal stakeholders and other members of the Business Insights team.
- Work effectively with technical and non-technical team members and stakeholders.
- Work with business analysts to collect information on business needs and translate the data into technical requirements.
- Gather and properly document requirements for projects through the intake process.
- Design innovative technical solutions for business challenges and implement configuration changes as required, while ensuring quality and performance.
- Perform data analysis and provide conclusions on large datasets, while looking for ways to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the analytical processes.
- Effectively manage daily workloads across multiple projects with competing priorities
Requirements
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or related field OR
- 3+ years’ experience as a technical analyst, business analyst, data scientist, or similar job function
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Solid understanding of and experience in Microsoft Office, proficient in Excel (e.g.-VLOOKUPs, pivot tables and macros)
- Working proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g.-MySQL, SQL server, Oracle)
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g.-Power BI, Tableau)
- Strong self-reliance and the capability to work autonomously
- Excellent communication skills
- Coding skills in Python for data manipulation and analysis

- 340B or healthcare industry experience
