Associate Product Manager

StrongMind is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Associate Product Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will engage in various product management tasks, gaining independence and developing a versatile skill set. You will go beyond surface-level customer requests to understand their deeper needs and contribute across multiple teams, including UX, product marketing, product development, and curriculum development. From development and design to analysis and communication of results, you will support and execute all phases of product management quickly and effectively. Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- Manage product tasks with guidance, organizing and tracking project milestones. Our team follows a structured approach with one-week sprints, ensuring that a rolling six-week plan is always in place. To maintain this cadence, stories must be continuously crafted, collaboratively refined with the team, and accurately pointed.
- Participate in team meetings, contributing valuable insights and solutions.
- Manage backlogs and iteration planning by writing user stories and acceptance criteria, ensuring continuous refinement and alignment with sprint planning.
- Prioritize tasks based on immediate project needs, identifying and communicating potential risks.
- Help resolve blockers with support from senior team members and provide weekly updates on project progress.
- Collect and organize user feedback and industry insights to drive product improvements.
- Analyze customer feedback beyond direct requests, identifying deeper trends and insights.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to clearly articulate problems and solutions.
- Understanding of agile methodologies and experience supporting agile teams.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for continuous learning and self-improvement.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments, advocating for data-driven decision-making.
- Work independently while prioritizing tasks effectively.
Education & Experience:
- Passion for education is essential; experience in EdTech is a plus but not required.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience working in an agile environment is required.
- Proven ability to manage projects from inception to completion.
- Experience with mobile applications is beneficial but not required.
