Position Details:

STHS operates multiple acute care facility campuses specializing in pediatrics, heart and vascular services, maternity and women’s health, trauma services, and more. The system is affiliated with South Texas Clinical Partners ACO, Prominence Health Plan, and Cornerstone Regional Hospital.
Additionally, STHS provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient treatment for behavioral health needs and addictive disorders through facilities like South Texas Health System Behavioral. The advanced Level I Trauma Center at South Texas Health System McAllen, the first freestanding children’s facility at South Texas Health System Children’s, and specialized cardiac services at South Texas Health System Heart further enhance the quality of care.

Position Details:
- 2 weeks on/ 2 weeks off rotation
- 6AM- 6PM or Swing Shift
- 180 shifts per year
- Engage in focused patient care in a closed ICU setting, no procedures or codes
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
- Texas Medical License or eligibility.
- Spanish-speaking ability is welcomed but not mandatory.
