Job Summary:

The Business Analyst partners with business unit leaders to analyze processes, identify needs, and propose data-driven solutions. Key responsibilities include gathering and documenting business requirements, analyzing current processes for improvement, and interpreting complex data sets to support decision-making. They also develop and propose solutions that align with business goals and assist in project planning and execution. Additionally, they support the training of newly implemented processes or technologies.

Job Goals:

  • Collaborate with the individual business units in mapping their work processes and analyze them for operational efficiencies within the people, process, technology (PPT) framework.
  • Support the build-out of GPRS’ project initiation and pipeline, including the ownership of a project’s requirements, scoping, and defined objectives.
  • Partner with GPRS’ data team to identify and track key measurements to support project discovery, execution, and delivery.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with individual business units to map their work processes and analyze them for operational efficiencies within the people, process, technology (PPT) framework
  • Assist in building out the project initiation and pipeline for GPRS, including taking ownership of project requirements, scoping, and defining objectives
  • Partner with GPRS’ data team to identify and track key measurements that support project discovery, execution, and delivery
  • Collaborate with business unit leaders and stakeholders to gather and document business requirements
  • Analyze current business processes to identify areas for improvement and enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Interpret complex data sets to provide actionable insights and support decision making
  • Develop and propose solutions that align with business goals and technical capabilities
  • Assist in project planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure successful implementation of solutions
  • Support the training of newly implemented processes or technologies in alignment with the implementation of solutions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or similar discipline and/or 4 years of work experience in lieu of degree
  • Preferred MA in Business Analytics, Intelligence
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an analyst or similar role
  • Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Project Visio
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with business process modeling and improvement
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
