The Data Analyst will provide essential technical support to Category Analysts and the Analytics Performance Manager by ensuring reliable, accessible data and insights. This role focuses on efficiently processing, consolidating, and optimizing large datasets to facilitate accurate reporting, performance tracking, and trend analysis. By developing streamlined data models, reconciled reports, and actionable insights, the Category Business Data Analyst enables teams to drive performance metrics, identify savings opportunities, and support strategic sales initiatives.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm

Salary: $75,000 - $85,000/year

Responsibilities

You will:

• Efficiently manage, reconcile, and transform large datasets
• Design, update, and maintain accurate, user-friendly reports that distill complex data into accessible insights for teams.
• Provide technical expertise that supports teams in their strategy development and decision-making processes.
• Prepare reconciled monthly and ad hoc reports on key metrics, such as savings, category performance, and sales adoption
• Conduct precise trend analysis on internal data
• Lead or support projects to streamline data structures and reporting processes, improving accessibility for all teams.
• Ensure data is optimized for efficiency and easy access, enhancing overall team productivity.
  
  

Qualifications

You have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business, Finance, related field, or equivalent experience
• 2-4 years of experience in a data analysis, reporting, or technical support role, ideally with experience in business analytics.
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, Power BI, or similar data tools
• Strong analytical skills, able to work with complex data and extract actionable insights to support performance and business goals.
