Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a variety of events, ranging from corporate gatherings to social celebrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute events from start to finish, including venue selection, catering, and logistics.
- Manage budgets for events, ensuring all expenditures align with client expectations and requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors such as caterers, florists, and audio-visual technicians to ensure all services are provided as agreed.
- Develop event timelines and ensure all team members are informed of updates and changes.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their vision and keep them updated on progress.
- Ensure all events comply with safety standards and legal requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Event Coordinator or similar role in planning and executing events.
- Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Strong negotiation skills to secure the best deals with vendors and venues.
- Creative problem-solving skills to address challenges that arise during events.
- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
