Part-Time Administrative Assistant

POSITION: Administrative Assistant STATUS: Part-time, Non-Exempt

JOB SUMMARY:

The Administrative Assistant will support the Service department to ensure smooth office operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong ability to manage multiple tasks, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This will be a part-time position working roughly 24 hours per week.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide administrative support to the Service team at JTS
• Perform data entry and update databases as needed
• Collect department receipts and complete monthly expense reports
• Gather, scan and file documents into project files
• Assist service team with parts orders, returning customer phone calls, as well as assist with shipping and logistics
• Complete bookkeeping tasks
  
  

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school degree
• 1 – 2 years of bookkeeping experience
• 1 – 2 years of general administrative support experience
  
  

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines
• Familiarity with office software like Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel)
• Understanding the importance of discretion, especially when dealing with sensitive or confidential information
• Must have a can-do attitude
