This employee drives market pharmacy financial performance and ensures that clinical service delivery generates revenue in a cost-effective manner, improving margin and developing a return on investment.
- Develops and implements direct patient care strategy and clinical pharmacy programs for the market and analyzes pharmacy data to determine clinical services
- Prepares and revises policies and procedures and implements approved changes and ensures compliance within the scope of responsibilities
- Provides guidance to pharmacists and analyzes economic trends, population health trends, and community needs
- Utilizes clinical judgment and business understanding to develop programs and services
- Collaborates with operations leadership to ensure appropriate clinical services are available
- Develops metrics to meet clinical and regulatory requirements
- Ensures all required personal and pharmacy licensure is acquired and maintained for pharmacy operations and oversee the proper procurement, storage, and dispensing of medication and equipment
