Essential Job Duties

  • Review monthly pre-bills for clients and attorneys
  • Edit pre-bills and work in coordination with the billing staff
  • Communicate with attorneys and clients who require special terms and adjustments
  • Verify accuracy of billing and supporting documentation of write-offs per firm policy and make corrections as necessary
  • Electronically redact and transmit client invoices
  • Input disbursement charges monthly
  • Scan invoices and other documents
  • Perform e-billing
  • Mail monthly client invoices and reminder statements

Other Duties

Other accounting duties as assigned by Finance Director and Billing Manager

Qualifications/Requirements

  • 2+ years of e-billing experience
  • Some billing/accounting experience in a legal environment preferred
  • Knowledge of Aderant or other legal billing software a plus
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task a variety of assignments in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner both verbally and in writing with internal customers and firm clients
  • Attention to detail a must
  • Ability to work 8 hours in a day or 40 hours in a week, and monthly overtime required

Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000 Annually
