Job Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY: The Service Engineer - EV Charger Product Line will provide technical support and expertise for our new EV charger product line, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. This role requires a candidate with a strong technical background and experience, preferably from the EV charger or capital equipment industries, and specific experience with power electronics.

Job Description (duties And Responsibilities)

  • Technical Support: Provide expert technical support for the EV charger product line, addressing and resolving customer issues efficiently
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the customer service team to troubleshoot and solve customer problems, ensuring seamless communication and service delivery
  • On-Site Support: Travel to customer sites as needed to provide hands-on technical assistance for troubleshooting and repairs
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all service activities, including customer interactions, technical issues, and resolutions
  • Training: Assist in training customers and internal teams on the operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of the EV chargers
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for product and service improvements based on customer feedback and field experiences
  • Strategic Input: Provide strategic input and technical expertise in the development of service programs and processes for the EV Charger product line
  • Compliance: Ensure all service activities comply with company standards and industry regulations

Job Requirements

Desired Experience

  • 5+ years of technical experience, preferably in the EV charger or industrial machinery industries
  • Proven track record of providing technical support and resolving complex technical issues
  • Experience with power electronics is essential

Education

  • A technical degree is required. Relevant work experience and demonstrated technical expertise are highly value

  • Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in using technical support tools and software.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed
