Program Manager III, GSF RME

Tasks/Responsibilities:

• Manage Operational relationships with support teams and internal operations business partners to drive increase in Amazon fulfillment centers.
• Identify opportunities to improve costs and efficiencies with Amazon facilities.
• Identify opportunities to improve costs and efficiencies with Amazon Robotics.
• Provide input and execute standard operational procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to indirectly influence internal service providers to successful outcomes.
• Committed to learning and expanding professional and technical knowledge.
• Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills and ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases.
• Ability to clearly communicate data insights to others and execute positive change.
• Demonstrated ability to dive deep using Root Cause Analysis to eliminate maintenance problems.

Manage Engineering and Operations relationships and establish yourself as a primary business contact for Amazon MHE improvements.

• Develop risk mitigation strategies for each Center with respect to MHE.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies for each Center with respect to Amazon Robotics.

Field Base Travel - up to 50% of the time travel.

Key job responsibilities:

• Support the network by helping to identify and implement process changes, engineering, and/or training that comes from lessons learned through the guided root cause analysis process.
• Detailed project management with innovation and engineering solutions for multiple reliability and maintenance engineering teams across North America.
• Role will use analytic tools to find trends and develop improvements to reduce downtime within the buildings.
• Role will help write papers, initiate change management process, and partner with field and support teams to drive potential network fixes.
• Role will initiate network level support for sites that have high impact events that meet a certain threshold and help deep dive root cause.
