JOB SUMMARY: The Recruiter will coordinate TriCore’s recruitment strategy efforts as identified by partnership and discussions with the leadership team. Will provide backup assistance to Staffing Specialist position as needed. Highly motivated and self-directed to ensure that staffing needs are being met throughout the organization. Staffing requirements include but are not limited to sourcing candidates, initial screenings, job description evaluation and explanation to external candidates and candidate sources, scheduling of interviews. Responsible for the development of recruitment strategies and targeted recruitment efforts that follow TriCore policies, EEO, AAP and other applicable federal and state laws and/or regulations. The Recruiter provides recruiting metrics to leadership to identify opportunities and drive results. Responsible for changes and updates to TriCore’s Applicant Tracking System (ATS), researching additional options and making recommendations for change when needed. Travel is required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Responsible for consistency in the creation of job postings on various platforms, including internal ATS and collaboration with leadership to develop, implement, and make necessary changes to recruitment efforts.
  2. Maintain and use recruitment strategies for sourcing and vetting candidates (including resumes) prior to Hiring Manager review.
  3. Works collaboratively with Director on innovative and proactive recruitment approaches on social media and use of professional networks to attract top talent.
  4. Primary contact for ATS to ensure updates are in place as needed, makes recommendations for upgrades and follow through on necessary administration concerns.
  5. Collaborates with HCM teams and leadership to establish and document a criteria tool for departmental business needs and ensure quality candidates are provided for review.
  6. Able to evaluate external labor market conditions, analyzing hiring trends, and track candidate feedback. Able to discuss options and suggestions for change, improvement, and solutions for the organization’s recruitment strategies.
  7. Maintains a working knowledge of job descriptions, education and experience requirements. Partnering with Total Rewards as needed to ensure consistency and equality as positions are amended and regraded.
  8. Collaborates with third party vendor(s) and staffing agencies to ensure that hiring criteria are consistent with TriCore requirements prior to temporary workers being placed.
  9. Able to research and provide options for various job boards, advertising opportunities and educational institutions as opportunities for the creation of candidate pools where appropriate.
  10. Analyze and run reports, create spreadsheets, and documents related to recruitment practices that can be shared organization wide for understanding of recruitment metrics.
  11. Creates annual training based on identified opportunities for improvement; to include tracking and reporting, hire right strategy, time to fill understanding, cost per hire and quality of quantity.
  12. Works with DE&I Committee initiatives to recommend and help implement proactive approach to diversification plans and programs; including but not limited to Affirmative Action Plan.
  13. Responsible for analyzing data to proactively identify gaps and trends.
  14. Maintains and reports on recruiting metrics and analytics to Director for review and discussion around team productivity, and program ROI.
  15. Will assist with the implementation of recruitment strategies identified by leadership to meet the overall needs of the department and organization.
  16. Will ensure accurate and concise records and recruitment processes are documented to ensure consistency and tracking for all phases of the recruitment process.
  17. Will manage and maintain the full life cycle recruitment needs for various positions at all grade levels in accordance with TriCore policies and AAP.
  18. Self-motivated to establish networking opportunities and development of qualified candidate pools for high turnover positions and locations.
  19. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in relevant field or combination of education and experience.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum four (4) years directly relevant staffing/onboarding/recruitment experience OR a combination of six (6) years of relevant education and general HR and/or laboratory experience.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Prior experience in driving strategic recruitment efforts and initiatives.
  • Experience in using an Applicant Tracking System. Prior experience with recruitment practices in a fast-paced environment.
  • Intermediate level experience in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable by the laboratory insurance carrier.

PREFERENCES:

  • Bachelor’s degree HR, Business Administration, Management, or a related field
  • PHR/SPHR certification
