Overview:
The Camp Counselor is responsible for the daily care and supervision of a group of campers, creating a safe, fun, and inclusive environment. Counselors are role models who foster positive relationships and lead activities with enthusiasm.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and guide a group of campers through daily schedules and activities.
- Assist in the planning and delivery of camp programs and events.
- Promote teamwork, inclusion, and positive behavior among campers.
- Ensure camper safety by following all camp policies and procedures.
- Communicate with parents as needed regarding camper experiences.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience working with children is preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Energy, patience, and a passion for working with youth.
- Minimum age of 18 (or as required by state regulations).
