This position will operate in a hybrid work environment, 3 days per week in the office (Philadelphia, PA).

Overview
The primary function of the Wealth Planning Associate is to support the Wealth Planning team’s mission to consistently deliver high-value, proactive planning advice. The associate will work on client projects and assist client relationship teams across the firm’s entire footprint. This role is intended for a high performing individual who is looking for an entry point into wealth management and/or comprehensive wealth planning. This individual will gain a broad understanding of Glenmede’s wealth management and advisory business and gain exposure to firm initiatives and projects while assisting in the operations of the Wealth Planning Group.
Responsibilities
WealthView Oversight. Oversee daily internal administration of WealthView Software, including but not limited to: WealthView client setup, data quality control, and client account connections. Respond to client and employee inquiries involving Glenmede’s WealthView. Complete WealthView access requests across the firm and manage technology-related projects and inquiries for the Wealth Planning group.
Complex Analysis, Advanced Administration and Project Initiatives. Assist the Wealth Planning team in daily operations and administration for the Wealth Planning Group. Lead Wealth Planning related initiatives and administration on Gforce. Prepare meeting client deliverables in collaboration with team members, including estate planning summaries, detailed net worth statements, financial planning models, and customized advice based on a client’s personal wealth objectives. Foster team environment by reaching out to Glenmede colleagues outside the Wealth Planning group. Opportunities to serve on firm committees.
Firm Building. Engage in department-specific and firm-wide initiatives to expand capabilities, improve user experience, and develop more efficient processes. Perform other duties as required by position.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field required by your start date.
- No more than 3 years of experience in advising high net worth individuals, in financial services or accounting environment required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree such as JD, MST, or MBA a plus but not required
- Internship in financial planning, wealth management, or financial services preferred.
- Commitment to pursuing an advanced degree or certification such as CFP, CPA, or MST.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and multitask.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a team and with clients.
- Ability to communicate both orally to large groups and in formal written presentations.
- Detail-oriented, particularly with financial calculations.
- Command of Microsoft Office and the ability to embrace financial planning-oriented and other IT applications (i.e. eMoney Advisor, Salesforce).
