At the Analyst-Level, you will be expected to contribute to the development of recommendations, business knowledge and technology awareness, provide meaningful input into client deliverables/proposals, and take ownership of assigned tasks. You will conduct research, collect data, and perform quantitative and qualitative analyses to support business solutions. Most importantly, you will embrace our firm’s brand and core values.

Role and Responsibilities:

You may work on various projects throughout your career with Excelacom. The roles and responsibilities noted below pertain to the specific role listed above.

• Collaborate with senior developers and project managers to design, develop, and implement software solutions.
• Write, test, and maintain clean, efficient, and well-documented code using Java and the Spring Framework.
• Work with relational and non-relational databases to develop, optimize, and maintain database systems.
• Assist in deploying applications on cloud server platforms and monitor performance.
• Participate in code reviews, team meetings, and agile ceremonies to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Contribute to all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices to continuously improve skills and processes.
• In addition to delivering at the client site, you will occasionally be tasked in productizing Excelacom’s work, contributing to our Center of Excellence and intermittently working on Excelacom proposals to the client.
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Computer Science or related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
• Strong math, written and verbal communication skills with an analytical approach
• Ability to interact cross-functionally with various levels management and peers
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team-based environment
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Java programming.
• Familiarity with the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, etc.).
• Familiarity with UI frameworks like Angular or ReactJS
• Understanding of database programming, including SQL and experience with databases like Oracle SQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Basic knowledge of cloud server technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Ability to read, understand and define API specifications like REST or XML APIs
• General Skills:
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in Telecommunications, Media, or Cable is highly preferred
• Experience in a professional office environment
• Relevant internship experience
• Basic understanding of SQL
• Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or Angular/React.
• Experience with version control tools like Git.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Exposure to agile development methodologies.
