We are seeking a Project Manager to support the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Information Management Center Services V (IMCS V) contract to support the NDP National Digitization Center in Kansas City, MO.
Position Title: Project Manager (EPA IMCS V)
Location:NDP National Digitization Center – West – Hunt Midwest SubTropolis Building 95C4, 8800 N.E. Underground Drive, Pillar 370, Kansas City, MO 64161
Status:Part-time
Required Qualifications:
- This position requires a master’s degree or equivalent, relevant to the work required for the Project.
- This position requires a minimum of five (5) years relevant experience, including three (3) years of administrative, supervisory and project management experience with experience developing project plans, goals, and strategies, and reporting on project progress.
- Mastery of various software tools such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project, Outlook), SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, etc.
- Experience with Records Management and Digitization.
- Knowledgeable regarding National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) guidelines.
- Ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance.
- Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) experience, preferred
Essential Functions:
- Oversees the management of specific project related work that has defined goals, objectives, requirements, lifecycle costs, and a beginning and an end that delivers a specific product, service, or result. Ensures that project work is completed in accordance with the requirements of the contract.
- Ensure disciplined performance of quality work, to include the timely application of resources for the accomplishment of all customer requirements.
- This includes developing and executing a disciplined management philosophy, with clearly defined processes and tools applied and integrated throughout contract activities.
- Adhere to established performance measures and standards.
- Act as point of contact for services and acts as primary interface with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
- Ensure frequent coordination between Government and Contractor personnel, to include but not limited to management meetings and reviews.
- Ensure requirements are clearly communicated, mutually understood, and satisfied.
- Comply with all applicable Federal, State, and Local laws, regulations, policies, and directives as well as industry standards.
- Ensure comprehensive reporting occurs on a regular basis as defined by the contract and subsequent TOs.
- Performs other duties as needed.
