- Reporting to: Regional Executive Director
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday 8:30 am – 5pm
- Location: On-site presence required primarily in Gilman, IL and occasionally in Naperville, IL.
- Compensation: $120,000 - $155,000 annually; dependent upon experience, credentials and applicable qualifications.
- Lead and supervise clinical and administrative staff, ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission and goals. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and productivity.
- Develop, implement, and monitor treatment programs to ensure high-quality care, compliance with regulatory standards, and continuous improvement based on patient outcomes.
- Manage the organization’s budget, ensure financial stability, monitor revenue and expenses, and make strategic decisions to meet financial targets while maintaining care standards.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, licensing bodies, and accreditation standards, including managing audits and site visits.
- Build and maintain relationships with referral sources, funding agencies, regulatory bodies, and community partners to support growth, funding, and referrals.
- Collaborate with quality assurance department to assess and improve clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and operational efficiency. Address deficiencies and enforce corrective actions.
- Ensure a safe and secure environment for patients and staff, complying with health, safety, and fire regulations. Implement emergency protocols and manage risk effectively.
- Lead efforts to market the organization’s services, build partnerships, attract referrals, and expand the center’s client base and reach.
- Set the long-term vision and goals for the organization, making key decisions on resource allocation, service offerings, and overall direction.
- Maintain open communication with staff, stakeholders, and the board of directors, providing regular reports on operational, financial, and programmatic progress.
- Ensure staff are adequately trained, provide development opportunities, and foster continuous learning to maintain high standards of care and performance.
- Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of treatment programs and organizational operations, adapting strategies based on patient feedback, audits, and evolving industry trends.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in substance abuse treatment and/or mental health settings.
- At least 3 years of experience in a Director-level role, demonstrating the ability to lead and inspire teams to achieve organizational goals.
- Proven ability to analyze market data and execute strategic decisions that foster organizational growth and innovation.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey ideas and represent the organization in public forums.
- Strong track record of identifying and cultivating opportunities to expand the organization’s reach, build partnerships, and enhance revenue streams.
- Proficient in managing complex projects, ensuring timely delivery of outcomes while maintaining quality and efficiency.
- Familiarity with patient confidentiality, healthcare code of ethics, state regulations and Joint Commission standards.
- Master’s degree in Business, Healthcare or a related field.
