Qualifications
- The qualified individual should have 2 years of relevant experience, be highly organized, excellent at working with and motivating people, have strong communication and computer skills
- Verifiable work and professional references (being eligible for rehire)
- Pass a criminal background check
- Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance
- Have your own reliable vehicle
- Mature, compassionate, caring, punctual and reliable
- Must be able to read, write, speak, English
- Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes.
- Provide assistance with personal care.
- Assist with mobility, transfers and range of motion exercises.
- Handle meal planning, preparation and feeding..
- Provide companionship and respite services for the family.
- Recruiting and on-boarding caregivers.
- In addition, the position will maintain employee files, perform background checks
- Run ads as needed; find new media sources to run ads
- Mine recruitment databases weekly for new caregiver applicants
- Track responses to all ads and other recruitment sources
- Routinely identify new avenues to recruit caregivers
- Takes on-call as scheduled
- Cover emergent shifts as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned
