What you will do:
Come be part of our growing team! As our Regional Sales Manager – Southeast Region, you will drive automation solutions within the water and wastewater industry. You will plan, develop, and implement marketing strategies and programs to increase both profitability, and the distributor and rep market share of our Controls and Level Sensing Technologies (CLT) offerings within our Southeastern Territory (FL, GA, AL, TN, NC, SC). This position would work remotely but the candidate must reside within the territory.
The Job
Every day, your primary role will be building and maintaining relationships with current and potential customers through meetings, emails or phone calls to meet or exceed established sales goals. You will promote SJE’s Controls and Level Sensing Technologies (CLT) within the water and wastewater industry. You will work with customers to find solutions to their problems and conduct in-house and out-of-house product training for employees, customers, and representatives. You will analyze market trends to identify new product ideas and work with the Operations and Marketing Teams to develop marketing strategies. You will also plan and represent SJE Rhombus/CSI at regional and national trade shows and develop/plan regional and national representative meetings within your assigned territory.
The Skills You Need
To succeed in this role, you must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be very well organized and have a natural drive to succeed. You must maintain a high level of technical automation competence to support customer and company needs. You must understand rep management, know your territory and be able to build relationships. Seven to ten years of experience is preferred with a 2-year technical degree or 4-year bachelor’s degree in a related field.
