Who You Are

You are an experienced bartender and team player. You are able to lead a team of Bartenders and Beverage Servers as well as mix and serve drinks and food, take orders, stock supplies, and bring outstanding customer service to our patrons daily.

What You Will Do

• Responsible for overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the bar staff including training, planning, assigning, and reviewing work performance; maintaining employee department files; addressing complaints and resolving internal/external issues.
• Checks daily receipts and monthly inventories.
• Control inventory of glassware, bar tools, dry-goods, alcohol, etc.
• Interact with customers to ensure satisfaction, address concerns, and uphold MIB’s commitment to outstanding service.
• Recommends recipes, cocktails, and drink specials.
• In conjunction with F&B management, plans, coordinates, creates, and runs bar focused promotions.
• Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure efficient service and conformance to standards.
• Operates point of sale register, handles cash and equivalents, issues receipts, and processes transactions.
• Ensures compliance with all health and safety procedures and requirements.
• Assists with equipment maintenance and repairs and coordinates vendor services.
• Reviews work procedures and operational problems and recommends ways to improve service, performance, or safety.
• Fills in for all other positions as needed including opening, closing, and operating of the bar.
• Monitor employee and patron activities to ensure liquor regulations are followed.
• Schedules parties and takes reservations.
• Purchase or requisition supplies and equipment needed to ensure quality and timely delivery of services.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
  
  

What You Bring

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• A minimum of four (4) years experience in Bartending required with at least two (2) years managerial or supervisory experience required.
• Required to possess and maintain a valid WA State health card/food handler permit.
• Must maintain valid Class 12 Alcohol Service Permit.

Since we first opened on January 21, 1985, Muckleshoot Bingo has helped the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe launch a period of economic prosperity. We have grown from our humble beginnings as a small bingo tent located where our sister property Muckleshoot Casino now stands, into a state-of-the-art 55,000 square foot entertainment space, boasting two floors with over 1,000 bingo seats and over 500 of the hottest Vegas-style slot machines, and annually employ over 200 people from across the greater Auburn area.
