Job Summary
The Marketing and Promotions department serves as the face of Purdue Athletics for many of our fans and customers, as well as a revenue generator for our Athletics Department. Our commitment is to provide exceptional customer service to all our fans and be responsive to their concerns.
Responsibilities
Assist the Marketing and Promotions staff in all aspects of daily operations, including game preparation, phone interaction and general office duties. Attend a majority of athletic contests including every home football game, assist with promotions, sponsorship execution, giveaways and event management. Oversee various responsibilities for assigned sports. Organize and implement promotions, coordinate special projects. Contribute promotional ideas to engage students and international students with athletics
Qualifications
Must be a current Purdue Student
Ability to work individually and within a team setting
Excellent customer service skills
Manual labor which may include lifting, carrying, long periods of standing and walking
General Knowledge of athletics related rules/regulations
Maintain professionalism as a representative of Purdue Athletics
This internship is a PAID position for both office and event hours. Requires minimum 6-8 hours a week in the office. Must work every home football game, weekends, nights and some holidays are required.
