We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Event Coordinator in the Architecture & Planning industry. As an Assistant Event Coordinator, you will work closely with the event planning team to ensure the smooth execution of various events and conferences within our organization. Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of various events, including conferences, seminars, and workshops
- Coordinate logistical details such as venue selection, catering arrangements, and audiovisual equipment setup
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop event themes, agendas, and content
- Manage event budgets, by tracking expenses and negotiating vendor contracts to optimize resources
- Coordinate event registrations, including ticket sales and attendee communication
- Support with on-site coordination including setup, registration, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise during events
- Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, or a related field
- Previous experience in event coordination or related roles is preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-oriented mindset
- Proficient in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Attention to detail and ability to anticipate potential issues and provide solutions
