MOA Architecture is looking to create a new market sector to discover unmet needs and design innovative products to fill them. Early involvement offers advantages like leadership, growth and the ability to shape industry standards for long-term success. We are looking for a recent graduate in Industrial Design with a passion for creating innovative, design-focused products.

In this role, you’ll design unique products for an online marketplace and support the architectural team with physical model making, renderings, and content preparation. You’ll have the opportunity to blend product design with architectural creativity, collaborating on projects that inspire and engage.

Key Responsibilities

Product Design

  • Collaborate with the product development team to brainstorm, design, and prototype new DIY products and creative tools.
  • Translate customer insights and market trends into innovative, functional, and user-friendly product designs.
  • Create detailed 3D models, renderings, and technical drawings for prototyping and manufacturing.
  • Experiment with materials, colors, and finishes to align designs with brand identity and customer preferences.
  • Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure design integrity throughout the production process.
  • Test prototypes and refine designs based on functionality, durability, and user experience.

Architectural Support

  • Build physical models for presentations and design explorations.
  • Create high-quality architectural renderings and visualizations.
  • Assist in preparing design boards, presentations, and other materials for client and internal meetings.
  • Collaborate with the architectural team on integrating creative product designs into larger design concepts.
  • Contribute to design research and ideation sessions for architectural projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in design and rendering software such as SolidWorks, Rhino, AutoCAD, SketchUp,

Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp or similar tools. Experience with Enscape or Twinmotion

preferred.

  • Strong sketching, 3D modeling, and rendering skills, with the ability to create visually

compelling presentations.

  • Experience with physical model making, using tools like laser cutters or 3D printers, is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for user-centric and

architectural design.

Salary Range $50-55k Per year
