PURPOSE & RESPONSIBILTIES OF THE POSITION
- The primary purpose of this position is to monitor customer schedules and forecasts to determine production scheduling, and support production management to ensure customer on-time delivery
- Plan workflow for each work center based on customer requirements utilizing ERP system and open sales order report
- Release manufacturing work orders to the warehouse for picking
- Coordinate/expedite manufacturing builds to ensure schedules are achieved
- Interface between purchasing, inside sales, engineering and production for order expediting
- Coordinate between warehouse, purchasing and sales on material shortages
- Notify sales team of any schedule impacts to customers
- Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements For The Position
- A.S. in Operations, Business, Industrial Engineering or equivalent technical discipline
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
- Experience operating within AS9100 (preferred) or ISO systems
- Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement experience
- Proficiency in ERP or MRP software preferred
- Strong computer skills including proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage and maintain a high volume of emails
- Level of travel required: None
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively across departments to provide information to managers both oral and written
- Organization: Ability to organize and prioritize work according to internal customer needs.
- Team-oriented: Ability to work well within a team environment.
