• Remote with travel to New York required*
  
  

What You’ll Do

• Provide senior technical consultancy on electrical, relay protection, and control engineering to the project team
• Provide overall technical guidance, producing/reviewing equipment, design and construction specifications, producing construction sequences, reviewing design deliverables, and advising on the viability of alternative approaches.
• Prepare technical specifications required for services, materials and equipment for the systems and facilities or for other work requested by the Client.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• 15 + years of experience in electrical substations (minimum 345 kV).
• Professional Engineering license
• Expertise at analyzing, understanding, confirming, and modifying utility design drawings for substation projects
• Command of substation equipment and materials / components and their functionality including air and gas insulated equipment, protection and control, metering, and SCADA
