Transportation Driver

Reports to: Administrator/ Transportation Supervisor

Purpose of Position:

The primary purpose of your job position is to provide transportation safely and timely, per established policies and procedures, and as directed by your supervisor.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Communicate with the dispatcher on Two-Way Radio
• Be able to operate a Hydraulic Lift.
• Report to Dispatcher and pick up patient schedule daily.
• Transport patients to and from doctors’ appointments.
• Inspect the van daily. (ex: check oil, tires, first aid kit & fire extinguisher)
• Ensure that seat belts secure all passengers.
• Other related duties and responsibilities may become necessary to ensure that the facility's needs are met.

• Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, visitors, and the public.

Education/Experience/Qualifications:

• Must be a minimum of 25 years of age.
• Must have CPR and First Aid License.
• Must have clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations or 1 at fault accident in a 7-year period.
• Must be able to operate a tablet and complete computer trainings

This position is highly physical, with frequent bending, pushing, and lifting of approximately 75 pounds or more multiple times a day in a vehicle.
