This role is within Intel’s Client Computing Group. CCG is a computing paradigm where services and data reside in scalable data centers, and those services and data can be accessed by any connected device over the Internet. Responsible for designing and optimizing processors, chipsets and other hardware for consumer devices while also working on the software ecosystem, including drivers and utilities that enhance user experience.
The Platform Program Manager applies technical background/specialized technology domain knowledge to manage complex projects and/or programs that are directly tied to the development, implementation, or upgrade of technology solutions/services.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US $138,940.00-$196,150.00

The Platform Program Manager applies technical background/specialized technology domain knowledge to manage complex projects and/or programs that are directly tied to the development, implementation, or upgrade of technology solutions/services.
In Addition, The Platform Program Manager Will
- Collaborates across organizations to develop detailed plan(s) and manages all implementation processes including change control process, testing, documentation, training, while ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, resource allocation, and scope.
- Outlines proposals for assigned projects and/or programs including business objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, timelines, funding, and staffing.
- Develops a comprehensive schedule(s) while monitoring future work to proactively adjust for unforeseen scheduling challenges.
- Reviews the project/program schedule with all relevant stakeholders to make updates as and when required.
- Assesses subproject dependencies and program constructs by leveraging multiple methodologies (Agile/Waterfall) and develops project/program indicators to manage program health including schedule, quality, and timelines.
- Communicates anomalies clearly by concisely stating the problem and specific impact to the project.
- Identifies tasks, assesses costs, identifies, and assigns specific resources, and communicates expectations to team members. Reviews user and technical requirements for completeness and clarity.
- Conducts project/program close out assessment and creates a recommendations report documenting the successful and unsuccessful project/program elements.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the willingness to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Computer/Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related major.
- 2+ years of Project or Program Management.
- 2+ years of Platform Hardware Delivery.
- 2+ years of experience in risk management.
- 5+ Years of Project or Program Management
- 5+ Years of Platform Hardware Delivery.
- 2+ years of experience in hardware engineering.
