The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Petroleum Construction Project Manager to join our Southeastern team. In this role, you will oversee the successful planning, execution, and completion of construction projects, ensuring all deadlines, requirements, and schedules are met.

Candidates with a strong background in fueling and petroleum construction are highly desired. However, professionals with comparable experience in related industries will also be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Developing project scope and objectives
  • Meeting with team members to ensure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, schedules, and resolve issues
  • Preparing status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information
  • Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution
  • Coordinate the development of user manuals, training materials, and other documents as needed
  • Conduct post project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements

Requirements And Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field, such as project management, engineering, or business administration. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Must have experience managing fast track projects such as ground up convenience stores.
  • Knowledge of heavy equipment operation.
  • Ability to lead teams for various sizes and see them through to completion
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • 25% field travel
  • Good driving record with no traffic violations
  • Requires medical exam in accordance with DOT regulations
