What We Are Looking For

NextCare Urgent Care is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable Virtual Care Coordinator.

Location

Join our centralized Virtual Care team in Tempe, AZ.

Responsibilities

The Virtual Care Coordinator is responsible for

  • Collaborating with Virtual Care Providers in the care of our patients
  • Triaging patients in preparation of their virtual visit
  • Scheduling patient visits as needed
  • Managing the virtual waiting room
  • Completing any necessary follow up and referrals needed
  • Assisting with appropriate and miscellaneous projects as assigned and able

How You Will Make An Impact

The Virtual Care Coordinator supports the organization with high quality customer service, by delivering a seamless, repeatable, and excellent virtual experience to NextCare customers.

Essential Education, Experience And Skills:

Education: Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent

Experience: Prior experience in an urgent care or other clinical setting

Skills:

  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to prioritize and pay attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with patients, providers, team members, and management
  • Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills
  • Flexibility to adapt to procedural changes

Cooperative and able to work well with others

Education:

Valued But Not Required Education, Experience and Skills:

  • Clinical education and/or certifications

Experience:

  • Virtual care
  • Electronic medical records
  • Front and/or back medical office

Skills:

Bilingual a plus
