The Associate Business Analyst will work with our Fund Administration Technology team as an in-house support expert for our core platforms. The Analyst will work directly with business users in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate must have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, must juggle multiple projects and issues concurrently, be a self-starter, capable of grasping new concepts quickly and will be expected to consistently deliver results in a client-focused culture.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Apply exceptional problem-solving skills to create and optimize efficiencies for our client services team
• Work directly with our business users and vendors to investigate, escalate, and resolve platform / system issues
• Use Advanced Excel capabilities, including pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas and graphing to streamline business processes
• Run workshops, training sessions and write simple documentation / user guides
• Document ongoing training and development of new team members
• Manage special projects and work on client deliverables
• Apply basic technology skills to analyze and troubleshoot system and software issues
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; commitment to a client-focused, solutions-oriented approach
  
  
  

YOUR PROFILE:

• Detail oriented individual with good written and verbal communication/interpersonal skills
• Highly capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team of both technical and business professionals, building strong relationships along the way
• Proactive learning style and ability to research problems for effective solutions
• Highly inquisitive and tech curious attitude with a track-record of solving problems with focus and determination
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently at times
• Advanced Excel skills (i.e. complex formulas, lookups, pivot tables, etc..)
• Basic technology skills such as Excel macros, SSRS reporting, T-SQL and advanced Excel modeling a plus
• Basic Accounting knowledge or background in finance a plus
