The Associate Business Analyst will work with our Fund Administration Technology team as an in-house support expert for our core platforms. The Analyst will work directly with business users in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate must have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, must juggle multiple projects and issues concurrently, be a self-starter, capable of grasping new concepts quickly and will be expected to consistently deliver results in a client-focused culture.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Apply exceptional problem-solving skills to create and optimize efficiencies for our client services team
- Work directly with our business users and vendors to investigate, escalate, and resolve platform / system issues
- Use Advanced Excel capabilities, including pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas and graphing to streamline business processes
- Run workshops, training sessions and write simple documentation / user guides
- Document ongoing training and development of new team members
- Manage special projects and work on client deliverables
- Apply basic technology skills to analyze and troubleshoot system and software issues
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; commitment to a client-focused, solutions-oriented approach
- Detail oriented individual with good written and verbal communication/interpersonal skills
- Highly capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team of both technical and business professionals, building strong relationships along the way
- Proactive learning style and ability to research problems for effective solutions
- Highly inquisitive and tech curious attitude with a track-record of solving problems with focus and determination
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently at times
- Advanced Excel skills (i.e. complex formulas, lookups, pivot tables, etc..)
- Basic technology skills such as Excel macros, SSRS reporting, T-SQL and advanced Excel modeling a plus
- Basic Accounting knowledge or background in finance a plus
