Dean DeWitt Property Management (DDPM) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will complete assigned maintenance tasks promptly, professionally, and in alignment with DDPM's high standards of quality. This position requires someone with a strong work ethic, a commitment to teamwork, and the ability to deliver excellent service to our tenants and team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and update assigned service issues daily.
• Perform maintenance tasks promptly, accurately, and according to work orders.
• Bring all necessary tools and equipment to job sites to complete assignments effectively.
• Report progress on work orders through rmAppSuite Pro.
• Work independently or collaboratively with team members on assigned tasks.
• Communicate needs for parts, equipment, or additional information to teammates.
• Adhere to DDPM safety procedures, systems, and dress code guidelines.
• Participate in team and company meetings.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of residential maintenance experience performing basic maintenance tasks, including changing toilets, fixing faucet leaks, and replacing light bulbs etc.
• Physical ability to perform labor-intensive tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing, bending, and digging.
• Must own and maintain basica hand tools, smartphone and a reliable work truck or van with valid insurance.
• Valid Florida Driver's License.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in smartphone usage and apps for managing work orders.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Work Schedule

• Full-time position, Monday to Friday.
• Occasional flexibility for emergencies or priority maintenance tasks.
• On-call rotation every 5-8 weeks, covering Monday through Sunday, with hours from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

• St. Petersburg, FL, with travel to various properties as needed.
