Primary Responsibility:

Diagnose electrical problems using diagrams or blueprints, install and repair electrical systems, inspect, troubleshoot, and conduct tests.

Tasks Performed:

  • Wiring complex electrical systems.
  • Assessing projects and creating material lists.
  • Installing raceways (conduit bending, wire ways, etc.) with applicable code knowledge.
  • Installing complicated circuits and automotive wire schematics.
  • Installing fixtures and devices.
  • Bending and installing branch circuitry.
  • Installing single phase 120v/240v equipment, AC/DC knowledge.
  • Planning, bending, and installing EMT, rigid, and PVC conduit.
  • Using ratcheting EMT benders on conduit up to 2”.
  • Additional items as assigned by manager.

Essential Functions:

  • Knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC).
  • Ability to adhere to written work instructions.
  • Ability to apply knowledge to new situations.
  • Flexibility and versatility to assume other duties, help with construction, insulating, general assembly.
  • Use and care of basic hand tools.
  • Identification of fasteners.
  • Self-organization.
  • Attention to detail.

Work Environment

  • Work will typically be performed in a team-based environment.
  • Work will typically be performed in a shop/warehouse environment.

Qualifications

  • High School or GED degree diploma desired, Electrician Certification.
  • Knowledge of low voltage 12 through 24v; ac and dc knowledge.
  • Knowledge of 3 phase 480v/277v and 120v/208v equipment and installation.
  • Knowledge of control circuits for 12v, relays, contractors, and dashboard.
  • Formal training in an apprenticeship or similar program, trade, or technical school.

Salary & Benefits

80 PTO hours available after first 60 days of service.

401K – 120 days eligibility is fully vested with up to a 4% match.
Weekly payday, every Friday.
