SALARY: $55,000 - $60,000

Duties And Responsibilities

The primary role of the Medical Office Coordinator is to oversee practice operations and business functions in an accurate and timely manner.

  • Greet visitors and vendors; oversee patient flow.
  • Schedule all procedure and follow-up appointments.
  • Check and verify insurance data on forms, records, reports & correspondence; maintain department records.
  • Ensure optimal use of the facility throughout all hours of operation. Ensuring patient and physician satisfaction and compliance with systems, policies, and procedures established for the office practice suite.
  • Establish and implement new procedures to streamline office efficiency; coordinate staff schedules and Team meetings.
  • Prepare and discuss financial plans with each patient for full transparency of Out of Network Benefits and Fees.
  • Maintain a quiet and peaceful environment that promotes healing.
  • Handle all confidential information with discretion and sensitivity, and within the HIPAA Laws.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in the medical field.
  • Associate degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Exceptional customer service background; administrative and clerical ability
  • Critical thinker, innovative, friendly, compassionate
  • Excellent communication skills and supervisory ability
  • Working knowledge of medical and billing terminology
  • Knowledge of insurance billing processes; experience with medical pre-authorizations
