Job Description

We are seeking a Mass Grading Site Supervisor to oversee large-scale site development projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mass grading operations, ensuring work is completed efficiently, safely, and according to project specifications. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all mass grading activities on-site.
• Ability to coordinate with utilities and storm drain supervisors
• Ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.
• Manage and lead crews, ensuring productivity and adherence to safety protocols.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Interpret and execute site plans, grading specifications, and survey data.
• Monitor and maintain equipment performance and site logistics.
• Identify and resolve potential issues in real time.
• Maintain daily reports and communicate progress effectively.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in mass grading or heavy civil site development.
• Proven leadership experience managing field crews.
• Strong knowledge of earthwork, site balancing, and grading techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Familiarity with GPS machine control and survey equipment is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• OSHA certification or other safety training is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites.
