Responsibilities:
- Coordinate communication projects for corporate, department and various internal customers’ initiatives to drive behavior and achieve project goals.
- Communication planning, concepting, writing, editing and coordinating branding, design and distribution steps.
- Research business communication trends and measurement approaches to provide recommendations for future strategies.
- As applicable, supervise vendor relationships and implement strategies to assure quality work and adhere to budget constraints.
- Apply the principles of public relations and Modern Woodmen polices to protect brand reputation and corporate image.
- Monitor Modern Woodmen’s corporate social media outlets on a rotational basis.
What we need:
- Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, journalism, marketing, English or a related field required.
- Life Office Management Association (LOMA) Fellowship designation preferred.
- 5+ years of related experience.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong critical thinking and planning skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
What we offer:
- Pay: The annual pay for this position is $60,000 - $70,000. The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and prior experience.
- Work arrangements: This is a full-time hybrid position: 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day), Monday - Friday, with flexible start time between 7 a.m.-9 a.m. Those in hybrid positions work in the office at least three days each week and from home on the remaining days. Employees beginning to work in a new hybrid role will be asked to work on-site (five days a week) during the initial training period which may be up to one year.
