The Amazon Security Recruiting team is seeking a talented, customer-focused sourcing recruiter with a passion for delighting clients and candidates to join our global recruiting organization. Amazon Security's dedicated talent acquisition team plays a crucial role in identifying and attracting top security professionals across all domains. These talent acquisition specialists partner closely with security leaders to understand technical and operational requirements, driving candidate generation strategies and maintaining high hiring standards. The Amazon Security organization emphasizes a shared responsibility model, with security teams working in a distributed yet coordinated manner while maintaining centralized governance. Through continuous monitoring, automation, and regular security assessments, Amazon maintains robust protection across its diverse ecosystem. This structure, supported by strategic talent acquisition efforts, enables Amazon to scale its security operations effectively while adapting to evolving threats, ultimately protecting customers, employees, and assets through integrated security programs and technologies.
Successful sourcers on this team utilize their experience in setting benchmarks, forecasting and tracking against metrics, and prioritizing to hit customer SLAs. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $64,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $138,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Key job responsibilities
- Partner with hiring teams to build effective sourcing and assessment approaches, managing customer expectations through deep ROI understanding
- Recruit passive candidates with focus on cultural fit and motivation assessment
- Build and maintain candidate networks through proactive market research and relationship management
- Recommend and implement strategic recruitment initiatives aligned with Amazon's mission
- Develop and execute structured recruitment plans with clear deliverables and timelines
- Screen and interview candidates to create ideal candidate slates within consistent timelines
- Participate in special projects to enhance recruiting practices and identify top talent
- 3+ years of technical recruiting in high volume and high hiring bar environment experience
- Experience building candidate sourcing and closing strategies
- Experience in technical recruiting in high volume and high hiring bar environment
- Experience recruiting for mid-senior level talent
- Experience working with essential tools of the trade, resume databases, and internet sourcing tools
- Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects and client relationships
- Experience creating, measuring and scaling workflow among candidates, hiring managers and the recruiting team
