Director, Application Team Air Springs

Responsibilities

• Define and execute global customer strategy.
• Align and achieve Target Business Plan together with Sales by winning target business and substitute lost business by Opportunity business
• ensure long-term sustainable and profitable growth.
• Monitor and assure profitability of all customer related projects over lifecycle – contribution margin focus.
• Establish as key contact for customer's Engineering team and maintain close relationship.
• Lead, develop and coach your Application Team to achieve maximum effectiveness and best-in-class results by making best use of available resources.
• Lead projects in line with VC procedures (APQP/VCProMaP).
• Take full responsibility for the project results in terms of quality, cost and timing in all phases of the project from RFQ to EOP.
• Manage change management and realize VA/VE ideas
• Solve development-related customer concerns (time, quality, cost) and support problem-solving of serial production quality issues.
• Develop and work on innovation and global standardization projects in collaboration with Product Engineering.
• Execute Vibracoustic strategic initiatives and support organizational development projects.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master degree in Engineering or other technical subject.
• Experience in the described key tasks, Project Management.
• Strong communication and presentation skills across cultures
• AVS/NVH product know-how is an advantage.
• Leadership skills.
• Team player, assertiveness, entrepreneurship, strong commitment, strong communication skills.
• Product Engineering Innovation data, Sales planning, Product and Plant Cost structure.
