We are now hiring an experienced Production Roof Mechanic.
A Roof Mechanic builds, maintains, and/or repairs roofs on commercial buildings.
Essential Functions:
- Cover roof with various types of roofing materials
- Follow directions for various tasks in a respectful manner
- Measure, cut and fit roofing materials
- Cleans and maintains equipment
- Inspect damage to determine proper resolution
- Sweep, shovel, and clean job site
- Other duties as assigned by management
- 1+ years’ experience in roof mechanic role preferred
- 1+ years’ experience in a manual labor role required
- Proactive work habits
- Problem solver
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Non-commercial Driver’s License preferred
- Work on surfaces of various heights and pitches
- Moderately loud
- Physically demanding
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Lift up to 100 lbs. on a regular basis
- Stand, kneel, bend for long periods of time
- Climb onto roofs and other elevated surfaces
- Reach and grab repetitively
- Endure extreme heat or cold for long periods of time
- Repetitive motions such as sweeping, shoveling, pulling, and pushing
