SUMMARY

Provides administrative support to the Sales Department. Duties include general clerical, receptionist and project-based work. Project a professional image through in-person and phone interaction.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Answers telephones and transfer to appropriate staff members.
  2. Meets and greets clients and visitors.
  3. Performs general clerical duties to include but not limited to photocopying, faxing, mailing and filing.
  4. Signs for and distribute UPS/Fed Ex/Airborne packages.
  5. Assists with the development of sales materials and current service/product knowledge.
  6. Assists with direct mail campaigns.
  7. Participates in departmental brainstorming meetings.
  8. Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  1. Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and telephone protocol. Computer literate with emphasis on Word and Excel. Ability to learn new software applications. Duties require professional verbal and written communication skills. Position requires attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. This is normally acquired through a combination of a high school diploma or equivalent and two to four years of administrative experience.
  3. Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.

WORKING CONDITIONS
