We are seeking a talented Accounting Assistant/Bookkeeper, who can use QuickBooks Online to record and verify transactions. Responsibilities include preparing invoices, receiving payments, reconciling credit card and bank statements and following up with collections. Responsibilities
- Enter financial data and transactions.
- Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered.
- Prepare quotes and maintain multiple pricing structures.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Assist with ordering lab supplies.
- Associates degree in accounting or 2 years of relevant experience.
- Previous experience in an accounting position and experience with QuickBooks Online.
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and basic accounting systems.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.
