Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Events Associate with a passion for event management to join our Fan Development team. In this collaborative role, you will assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of team and partner events, ensuring memorable experiences are created.

In this role you will:

  • Contribute to the development of event concepts, themes, and timelines
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and partners to secure event services, materials, and logistics
  • Assist in event preparation, on-site management, and post-event duties
  • Provide administrative and logistical support to departments both in-office and at event locations
  • Act as a key contact for vendors and internal teams during the planning and execution phases of events
  • Ensure timely delivery and setup of all event materials and equipment, adhering to pre-determined plans
  • Monitor event flow, ensuring adherence to schedules and resolving any last-minute changes or emergencies efficiently
  • Supervise event materials and equipment return, storage, and inventory management
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What you'll bring to this role:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • 1-2 years of experience in event planning, hospitality, or a related field
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with a keen attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Capable of working both independently and as part of a team

Additional information:

This is a part-time position reporting to the Event Presentation Lead. The work schedule includes evenings, weekends, and holidays throughout the team’s season. The primary work location will be Paycom Center located in downtown Oklahoma City, but frequent travel to events around the metro will be required. This role requires a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation for local travel. Physical demands of the job include the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and the work environment will include loud music, crowd noise, and outdoor work in both hot and cold weather conditions. Employees will be required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
