About the Role:

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at PK Industrial Supply. This role will support two companies and will be based in Baytown or The Woodlands, Texas office. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing company in the industrial supply industry.

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Reconcile invoices an identify discrepancies
• Assist with month-end and year end closing
• Assisting with payroll and expense reports
• Communicate with vendors to resolve invoice issues
• Monitor Open PO Report on a regular basis
• Weekly credit card expense verification and entry
• Time data entry for payroll
• Maintain and update spreadsheets
• Assist in special projects as needed
  
  
  

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable and receivable
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Associate's degree in accounting or finance preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
