Position Contributions to Work Group:

As recently announced, the Large Engine facility in Lafayette, IN is heavily investing in additional capacity to serve our customers, especially in the electric power and data center market. We have announced expansion plans as well as significant capital spending to increase our capacity. This role is key to development of world class processes and risk mitigation.

Typical Day in the Role:

• Weekly staff and prioritization meetings
• Facilitate the development of APQP documentation including, but not limited to process FMEAs, control plans and process flow diagrams
• Support and tracking of recommended action from the process FMEAs
• Independent scheduling and leading APQP readiness meetings with manufacturing engineering teams
• Review and /or develop process capability studies, measurement systems analysis
• Create final production part approval documentation (PPAP)
• Formal documentation and presentation at stakeholder updates
  
  

Technical Skills:

• Ability to facilitate and create all APQP elements including Process Flow, Control Plan and Process Failure Modes and Effect Analysis (PFMEA)

Education & Experience Required:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required
• 8-10 years experience required
  
  

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $47.00 - $48.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
