JOB DESCRIPTION
Join a new team creating a novel consumer video application focused on the media and entertainment industry. This is a high-impact role that will lead and ensure the successful delivery and management of critical initiatives on our strategic roadmap in Oracle Media Services. Join as the team's first TPM to define deliverables, create processes, jumpstart team growth, and establish team culture. This role comes with a high degree of personal accountability and autonomy and will require effective engagement across Engineering, Operations, and Product Management. The successful candidate will be a skilled Program Manager with accountability for overseeing and driving technical programs across OCI and/or Oracle; this is a highly visible role that requires technical depth, plus strong program management and communication skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Communication and leadership to enable effective collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Drive and implement change initiatives at scale, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints.
- Establish best practices across product, TPM, and engineering, including driving regular ceremonies for roadmaps, feature development, RoB, and executive reporting, plus defining tools and structure to ensure team functions effectively.
- Ensure that stated and unstated goals, business issues, concerns and priorities are surfaced and understood.
- Develop strategic plans to accomplish technical as well as business objectives with leadership, team, and customers.
- Define OKRs and KPIs to inform decision making and prioritization.
- Launch new cloud services and establish operational excellence.
- BizOps tasks (hiring, finance, HR, headcount, tracking exec docs) as needed.
- 8+ years of experience in program management or other leadership roles in the tech industry, especially in OCI.
- Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional programs, including demonstrated success in driving end-to-end program execution, from planning and requirements through delivery and iteration.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence technical and business leaders across levels.
- Ability to manage multiple high-impact initiatives simultaneously, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfort working in high-growth or ambiguous environments, with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Demonstrate excellent analytical skills and meet deadlines with a strong desire to execute tasks with quality and a sense of urgency.
- Domain knowledge and experience with playback, content augmentation, video transcoding and packaging, content delivery, streaming analytics, and flexible billing & cost analytics are highly desired.
