You will serve as the driving force, coach, and architect behind our Guides – the frontline learning facilitators who go beyond instruction to inspire. Your leadership will define how Alpha Guides engage with students, encompassing the creation of operational playbooks, feedback systems, and the demonstration of exemplary facilitation techniques.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Developing and training a team of Guides to execute the Alpha learning system with exceptional proficiency
  • Designing comprehensive Guide Playbooks that outline facilitation best practices, the creation of engaging learning experiences, and strategies for overcoming obstacles
  • Delivering consistent, practical feedback to Guides that enhances student engagement and academic outcomes
  • Personally coaching a select group of students, demonstrating advanced coaching techniques and motivational approaches

What You Won’t Be Doing

  • Developing lesson plans – your Guides support student learning through adaptive applications; your priority is equipping them to be outstanding facilitators
  • Compromising expectations – when our passing standard is 100%, maintaining that benchmark is your responsibility
  • Conducting uninspiring training – you will develop Guides through dynamic, energetic, experiential learning sessions

Learning And Development Manager Key Responsibilities

Develop and train a team of Guides to execute the Alpha system with exceptional proficiency.

Basic Requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in education, learning and development, coaching, or a closely related field.
  • Proven track record of designing and executing innovative educational programs, curricula, or training initiatives.
  • Exceptional leadership and mentorship capabilities with demonstrated ability to build, manage, and inspire high-performing teams.
  • Background working with youth (ages 5-18) in educational or developmental settings.
  • Competence in data analysis and leveraging metrics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
  • Availability to work on-site in Atlanta, GA; Las Vegas, NV; Nashville, TN; Park City (Salt Lake City), UT; or Spotswood, NJ.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $75 USD/hour, which equates to $150,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
