Essential Purpose And Responsibilities
We are looking for a dynamic, energetic, and ambitious Marketing Manager to join our team. In this role, you will report directly to the VP of Marketing, where you will leverage your knowledge and experience to lead efforts related to driving marketing strategy, marketing campaigns, trade shows, and public communications for Superior Essex’s division called Essex Brownell. This position is located in our Fort Wayne, IN, corporate headquarters and is an on-site position.

We are looking for a dynamic, energetic, and ambitious Marketing Manager to join our team. In this role, you will report directly to the VP of Marketing, where you will leverage your knowledge and experience to lead efforts related to driving marketing strategy, marketing campaigns, trade shows, and public communications for Superior Essex’s division called Essex Brownell. This position is located in our Fort Wayne, IN, corporate headquarters and is an on-site position.
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns to support growth strategies in market segments. Collaborate with both product champions and sales to develop appropriate, actionable levers to support the campaign.
- Align campaign analytics to analyze results and further explore or adjust campaign action items accordingly.
- Manage the team on public marketing communication as well as marketing analytics. The candidate should be able to drive team members to deliver results as well as create deliverables on their own.
- Perform final content approval for key marketing deliverables, including print media, social media, and marketing communications.
- Develop and execute marketing communication plans and meet stringent deliverable deadlines.
- Organize and execute plans for key company trade shows, including oversight on all planning aspects and collaborating/assigning/managing project action items.
- Support the e-channel and collaborate with the E-commerce Manager to develop campaign and communication strategies to drive online sales growth.
- Run traditional marketing deliverable projects to update and upgrade line cards, market flyers, and marketing campaign ads.
- Develop highly professional PowerPoint presentations as needed for both internal and external purposes.
- Defend and grow brand awareness and execute best practices based on Essex Brownell brand book guidelines.
- Collaborate with product champions and suppliers to deliver training materials as needed.
- Aid in supporting market segmentation and market landscape analysis projects.
- Build and maintain relationships with external marketing resources, suppliers, product champions, sales team, and executive management.
- Research and purchase all promotional items. Collaborate with suppliers (when appropriate) on co-branded promotions.
- Support key projects as assigned.
- Minimum 5 yrs experience in the related area
- Very strong Oral & written communication
- Highly professional presentation skills
- Strong marketing, sales or business management background
- Management skills, will have direct reports
- Project Management and time management skills
